Payment & Insurance Information
At Cottage Country Dental, we understand that each patient’s oral health needs are unique. Treatment costs vary based on the care required and are determined after an examination and consultation with your dentist. Your dentist will review your medical and dental history, take any necessary x-rays, and perform either a comprehensive or limited exam to assess your condition. Following the exam, we will:- Review findings and treatment options.
- Discuss estimated fees and payment options.
- Answer any questions you may have.
Payment Policy
Cottage Country Dental is a fee-for-service office. Full payment is due at the time of service, unless prior arrangements have been made. We follow the Ontario Dental Association (ODA) Fee Guide, updated annually on January. We accept:- All major credit and debit cards, cash, and bank drafts.
- Personal cheques are no longer accepted unless authorized.
Insurance Information
While dental insurance can help reduce out-of-pocket costs, patients are responsible for all treatment fees, regardless of insurance coverage.Non-Assignment Policy
We are a non-assignment office (except for the Canadian Dental Care Plan). This means we do not accept direct payment from insurance companies.- You pay us directly at the time of service.
- We submit your claim electronically on your behalf via CDAnet.
- Your insurance company reimburses you directly, often within a few days.
